Terms of Service — The Junk Skunks

1. Agreement to Services

By requesting a quote or scheduling junk removal with The Junk Skunks ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. We provide local junk removal and hauling services in Mebane, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Quotes are provided free of charge and are based on the information and photos you provide.

2. Services Provided

We haul away non-hazardous household and yard items including furniture, mattresses, appliances, garage contents, yard waste, and general clutter. We perform all loading and hauling. Same-day pickup is offered when available but is not guaranteed and depends on scheduling and location.

3. Hazardous Materials — Not Accepted

We do NOT accept hazardous materials of any kind, including but not limited to paint, chemicals, solvents, fuels, oils, batteries containing hazardous contents, asbestos, or medical waste. If you are unsure whether an item is hazardous, please ask before scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse any item we believe to be hazardous or unsafe to transport.

4. Quotes and Payment

Quotes are provided before any work begins. By accepting a quote and allowing our crew to begin loading, you agree to the quoted price. Payment is due upon completion of the haul unless otherwise agreed in writing. We do not publish prices online; all quotes are provided individually based on the volume and type of junk.

5. Access and Site Conditions

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the items being removed, including parking for our truck. You are responsible for identifying items to be removed versus items to keep. We are not responsible for items removed in error if they were not clearly identified.

6. Liability

We take care to protect your property during loading and hauling. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, damage to items being removed, or for circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our liability for any damage to your property is limited to the value of the service performed.

7. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We reserve the right to charge a fee for same-day cancellations or for trips made to a location where the job is no longer available.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved in the courts located in North Carolina.
